  1. Of course, that's the very thing that made them worth so much now. Imagine the disappointment that waits all the people storing their new cars today. Although their cars are much better and initially, much more expensive than the VW buses were when they were new, they will never approach the same value that top notch micro-buses have today because so many other people are storing their new cars too. Supply and demand. Here's some advice to new car owners: Drive your car, don't store it. It's almost impossible to recoup the cost of storing a car in the hopes that someday, it will be valuable.     1. Absolutely Neil... The Barrett Jackson results showed that the Vipers were a bad idea to store for 10-20 years (hard to believe the 1st Vipers were 1992, 22 model years ago) because the best of the Vipers with the least miles are still selling for less than MSRP when new.
