And then I found the coolest thread, what someone brings home from his weekly swap meet / rummage sales swoop - where he collects old tools on the cheap and finds cool stuff

And he usually goes through and takes close up photos and discusses the tool makers, markings, and such.  I dig it. It's like that thread on the garage journal where the guy slowly discovered all the stuff that he'd bought when he bought he old garage full of everything, cars, engines, tools, etc.

    1. laughing... considering... oh hell no. I'd never get any work done, nor ever have time for a movie, a meal, or sleep! Just click on the tool, tools, tool box, tool kit, etc for all the posts! Bring water, drooling will dehydrate you

    3. Thanks for the warning, I hear you on not getting anything done, all it takes is for me to see something odd that I don't know what its for, or does and there goes the day.

    4. there goes the day? Ha! I sometimes get hooked on something, track down everything I can, then ask Steve in Las Vegas for help, and then he goes a day or two on it... then I finally get to post the result. I can think of Old Steady and Old Scout as one example, and a couple comic book artists who did SCCA program cover art, and then I was all over the place... but, those sure helped me secure another Comic Con press pass, while still posting about race cars, artists, and WW2 vets, all at once! What a cool hobby I found!
